About Us

The Chenango Bridge Fire Company was formed in December 1938.

It is a 100% volunteer organization staffed by members of the community.

The Chenango Bridge Fire Company provides fire, rescue and emergency medical first response to the greater Chenango Bridge area, consisting of mostly residential and light industry as well as a significant wood land area while operating out of two stations. Station 1 is located at 13 Kattelville Road and was built in 1988. Station 2 located at 320 Kattelville Road was built in 1969 to provide improved fire coverage for the growing Chenango Forks community. The Chenango Bridge Fire Company operates 9 pieces of apparatus including three Fire Engines, a Heavy Rescue, a Utility, a Brush truck, an ATV and a Command Vehicle.
